University of Washington (Seattle) - Foster School of Business
Some 38 percent of Foster’s MBA class of 2015 went into sales or marketing roles, the highest percentage of all schools. The school’s Center for Sales and Marketing Strategy produces a range of research in marketing and puts on events.
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) - Nanyang Business School
With a Marketing and International Business department and associated Institute on Asian Consumer Insight, Nanyang is carving out a research niche in marketing in Asia. MBA students can choose to pursue a marketing concentration. The school also offers other relevant programs, such as an MSc in Marketing and an Executive Master in Marketing and Sales.
HEC Paris' MBA concentration in marketing provides insights into a range of topics, from social media to global marketing. The school's marketing department is strong in research: the 20 full-time faculty have produced more than 55 journal articles in the past five years, and the department puts on more than 20 research seminars per year, according to the school’s website.
The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
Wharton’s marketing professors are among the most-published faculty of any business school, anywhere. Not only does the MBA program offer a major in Marketing, it also offers a joint Marketing and Operations Management major. Through centers like the Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative, the school is carving out research niches in evolving marketing spaces.
Rutgers Business School - Newark and New Brunswick

According to the Rutgers website, over one-third of MBA students graduate with a Marketing concentration. And this seems to translate into jobs: 36 percent of the 2014 MBA class are now working in marketing roles. The school also offers an MBA concentration in Marketing Research Insights and Analytics, which helps helps students use analytical tools to address business challenges.
SDA Bocconi School of Management
Tapping into current trends, the Bocconi MBA allows students to pursue a concentration in Customer Marketing and Social Media during the second part of the program. About 32 percent of the class of 2015 went into marketing roles, the highest percentage of any European MBA program.
Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University
Currently ranked as the top business school for marketing by US News, Kellogg’s well-regarded faculty produce a huge range of publications each year. Kellogg MBAs can pursue the school’s concentration in marketing and then augment it with a relevant pathway such as Data Analytics. The school hosts two related centers: the Center for Market Leadership and the Center for Global Marketing Practice.
ESADE Business School - Barcelona Campus
Of ESADE’s class of 2015, 29 percent of graduates went into either marketing or sales roles. Through the MBA program’s “Marketing Lab,” students can choose from many marketing electives and participate in a variety of other marketing-oriented activities, such as a capstone course and guest speaker events.
University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management
Carlson MBA grads who pursued the program's area of emphasis in marketing have landed jobs in the marketing departments of companies like Target, Deloitte Consulting, and Best Buy. The school's Institute for Research in Marketing publishes a wide range of marketing-related research. Thirty percent of the school’s class of 2015 went into marketing or sales.
University of Wisconsin, Madison - Wisconsin School of Business
The school's A.C. Nielsen Center For Marketing Research infuses the MBA specialization in Marketing with up-to-date curriculum and industry connections. According to the school, about 31 percent of the MBA class of 2015 landed jobs in marketing.
